Want to Sell Stihl 066 powerhead

Hey guys. I have an 066 powerhead for sale. Thought it might have been an 064 but verified it is in fact an 066.

Appears to be all original. Piston looks good. Starts right up. I also have a video of it running. Sold as is

I think your right. I did some research and it appears this is an 066. Thanks

I have built a few, to tell for certain the oil pump on a 064 uses a hose for oil delivery to the bar pad the 066 does not.

Also your flywheel side half near the muffler protrudes further than an 064, similar to 044 vs 046.

I have early models with the cast covers, many have commented about that but there must have been some first year or possibly longer production runs with the cast covers, flat tops no decomp.

I have an early flat top no decomp 066 that had a cast filter cover. It now has the HD2 setup so it’s plastic now.

I only know of 2 with cast covers. This one was FS local and heated too.

Tempted..but already have one. I prefer the 066 to 660/661. Bombproof saw.
