Tree Topping (dirty Words!!)

THANKS AND KUDOS!!! to all who wrote me back about my ice damaged tree. I think you're right and I'll need a professional to look it over. I don't know how old this particular tree is, but it's trunk is about 24" to 28" in diameter, and according to the people we bought the house from, it had been cut back (better than topped?) about 5 years ago. Am going to take your advice to mind and talk to insurance co. Thanks again!!!!!

Topping is topping, if the buthcery was done we will call it that. Some of us get rather heated in our discussions against it.
