I wrote about a year ago and described a leaf on a Red Shumard Oak tree and was told it was vein pocket gall and that there was no cure but that it was not deadly. I'm writing again to share that my husband talked to a tree preservationist at the Texas State Fair and he said their was a cure and gave us a number to call for treatment. The tree has been treated and time will tell if it was indeed a cure. It was a bit costly, but will be well worth it if the tree returns to it's beauty. I'll post again when more time has passed.
