You can pump out a lot of firewood like that but you have to have nice long strait logs to work with.
I get my wood from residential tree guys that cut wood up into short odd size pieces of all shapes and sizes, so a processor like this would not be very useful. It is nice to watch one at work though.
 
Yep, we do smaller land clearing jobs in the winter so we keep the ideal stuff for firewood. Big stuff or not good wood gets sold to the mills for lumber or pallets, then the chunky stuff we just break down for boiler wood.

I would love a 4 strand deck since we usually leave our logs about 20-25' long for transport but it's too long for the dyna 3 strand deck. This adds an extra step in having to cut them once more so they feed reliably on the processor.

8-14" diameter wood is the sweet spot for this splitter running a 6 way. Anything over that size and you have to re split a lot.
