Walker Muffler question ?

I got a Walker muffler on my 346xpg my question is about the stock outlet !?
should i cover it up or let it stay open ? I'm thinking about the back pressure ,,,
if it is enough or should the saw be better of with it closed ??

I would leave it open , I have a walkers muff on my 385 .. I dont think it will cause a problem , never heard of anyone on here have to close up the hole for back pressure yet.

You do need backpressure, but not so much that you should close anything up. That's the purpose of a muffler mod in the first place. Unless a guy puts an inch and a half hole in the muffler, you've got backpressure.

Do you have any pics of the "Walker" muffler mod?
I have not seen what they do on the 346

Leave it open - Just be sure to adjust the carb, and you are good to go!
