They are worth more than ever.
Good to know, I still have 5,had 8 but gave a few for gifts.
Yup I have a couple, one is mint you prob remember that one.

The 044/046 is my favorite Stihl to run when I need to get things done
My saws are actually used for that very purpose, getting er done, they are not shelf queens, mechanically sound but often have some grime on them and show some battle scars. I don`t have them to look pretty and take pics of looking near new, they are not new. Well looked after but not spotless as they should be in their work clothes, not a polished turd.
Nice to have a mint one to remind one how they looked when new, I can look at my new MS440 and remember that.
I built a couple of 10 mm metal badge 044 a couple years ago. Had the cases powder coated all oem parts. Local tree company found out and offered 2600.for the pair. He uses them everyday.
