White Fungus on Maple. ID and Treat?

Ive Recently noticed this white growth on my maple tree and cannot figure out what it is. Ive tried researching it on the internet b but, cant seem to find any like examples anywhere. Does anyone know what this could be and how to treat? Ive seen some diseases on trees that are similar but not exact. Close to the hypoxylon.
The tree did recieve some ice damage about 3 years ago and recently went through a drought for the last 2 months.
Any help would be appreciated.
