white pine sap

Any helpful tips on removing white pine sap from ropes? ran it in a delicate cycle with woolite...did not seem to do much.

Climb any tree that is not a conifer. The bark will work it out. I keep two climbing lines, one for pines and one for everything else.

Keep using the rope, the sap will dry up and eventually wear off. I always was mine after taking down pines, put a little Dawn in the wash, that helps some, the rest just wears off.

yes well just using it again is fine unless you got it gooped up so bad you cant even get a hitch to slide. take a shower with your rope. any type of alcohol will clean sap off anything. including arm hair and eye lids. de-natured is the best. 90% isopropyl is great. rubbing alcohol is ok but it comes in mint which is nice. I keep a bottle in my truck.
