Does anybody know if there is much firewood use in the Wilmington NC area? and what sort of hardwoods are down there both for firewood and sawmilling. My wife is interviewing with the university down there. She'd make some sweet moola. As much as I love the U.P. these last couple weeks I've gone down hard a bunch with this thaw/freeze. As I'm laying on my back I have time to reflect on the pros/cons of moving. plugging trucks and tractors in, moving snow, changing shear pins with a -38deg windchill gets old(although the heated cab with stereo takes away alot of the misery) Just curious she may not get the job anyway.
