    CAD Hall of Shame

Yeah I feel your pain and frustration. When I start talking about saws and cutting wood my wifes eyes glaze over and she utters something like "blah blah blah." Than she starts talking to me about her interests and what she did and of course what she WANTS and I hear crickets.

    40:1, 50:1 does it matter?

So even if your saw mfg recommends 50:1 you are still better off running 40:1 correct? It makes sense to me.

    Tuning question on Husq. 359

noob question At the risk of sounding like a noob, and I am a noob, this may sound will like a stupid question. What do you mean by a saw will four stroke and two stroke. Is four stroking more low end and two stroking when the saw is wide open? Thanks, Kevin.

Ok guys, here are some pics of it. I took it apart and the piston looks squeaky clean, the carb may be adjusting. When I opened it right up and held it there was a little hesitation. Anyway, here are some pics.

I picked up what I believe to be a Husqvarna 181 SE but the only numbers I can find on the saw are on the flywheel and it reads: Sweden 501 - 80 22/02 120SG - W435. Is there any way of finding out if it is a 181 by these numbers? Would it be better if I post some pics of it? Thanks...
