I'm building a 372 Xp to run in a local competition next year and the donor saw was ... Less than beautiful. Wanted to try this for a long time. Dipped the top covers but still needs clear coat. What do y'all think so far. I've split the case and will be dipping it and side covers as well.

Is that a wrap or is there a new dipping process that can make leaves look real as though they were hand painted?

If I can jump into a bucket of paint and come out looking that good, I might have a Christmas present for the Wife. :)
It's called something like "wet dip", or something like that. Look it up on youtube. Really kewl stuff.
