As you can maybe guess I like to mod saws.
I've had real good luck modding echo and stihl. I'm just starting to look at husky and other makes; some of them have a lot of appeal in many areas.

A good portion of the list will be duplicate saws for me and I'm very ok with that.:)

Dear Santa:

I want a

Husky 346xp/NE, Husky 372xpw large displacement, Dolmar 401, Dolmar 420, Dolmar 5100s (just to smoke it), Dolmar 7900, Stihl 200T, Stihl 211, Stihl 026 PRO w/fully tunable carb, a 280, a Stihl 361 with heated handle, a 440 with heated handle, a 441R just to compare the 440 to, and a 660. And a bike saw, and a hot saw. Oh, and a couple of Echo 300 series saws to loan out to people. And bars. Lots and lots of bars. And chains. Reels of different types of chain. And an electric chain sharpener. And a bar roller. Hell, maybe a bar making tool so I can make my own custom bars. And all the spare parts needed for all these saws.

That should about cover it. :greenchainsaw:

I just got mine, (see my 880 thread :) )

At this point I'm done, I have the saws to handle anything that comes my way That I feal comfortable taking on. Now I think I'm going to focus on getting cable, snatch blocks and other rigging to make moving logs around easier.

But ya never know when CAD might strike again :biggrinbounce2:

It's a good thing you've got many years of saw collecting ahead of you...

(you may need to get a second and a third job too)

I seriously want all those saws in my list. More realistically maybe a short list would have the Husky 346xp/NE and 372xp LD, the Dolmar 420 and 7900, and the Stihl 200T, 441, 660, and the bike saw. And another 361. I cannot get enough of those saws. Maybe a 362 instead.

A Mercedes would be nice to drag them around in. But it would have to be an UniMog. A nice new one.

361 stock muffler mooded 20" rsc
359 stock muffler modded 20" rsc

i only want the 361 for comparison. just so i can see if its all its cracked up to be,

then i i realy want on top of my ported 359 is the 372 for right now. ill get bigger as my trees get bigger in the 30" plus range more often. ill be very disspointed if the 372 in stock form is takn by my 359.

I did forget the unforgettable 361. Has anyone noticed that when you run a 90cc saw cutting like 18" trees for like 3 hours, when you pick up a little 50cc saw you almost always get disappointed for the first 10 or 15minutes..???

Ya know I like the saw other than the darn oil fill...could they have made it any smaller?
Interested in swapping a saw? Only issue I'm having with it is the idle...she will idle nicely for 15-20 sec. then want to die. Still working w/ the L to get it right.

mobetter (post #36) - The BP-1 is the balanced piston saw, 44cc but very unique and limited edition as well. It was withdrawn from the market due to fears it would run away and self destruct if the governor failed.

The SP125 was occasionally equipped with the 101B kart engine. I have a couple 125's and they are fun to run, but not exactly scare you out of your pants kind of saws.

I do have a Wright GS5020A, also a balanced piston saw and I can testify that if you override the governor...watch out.
