I need advice on a new handheld blower.
Already have a backpack blower, but prefer a handheld for some jobs around the yard.

So far I've looked at the Husky 125B, 125BX,
and the Stihl BG86.

I want cruise control, padded handles would be nice, well balanced, and of course dependable.
It also has to has to have the add on velocity tip.

Is the easy start feature for the Stihl and Husky worth it.?

Any other brands should be looking at.?

Thanks,
I will check the Echo dealer in the next town over.
Spec wise the Echo PB255LN looks fine.
It does have cruise, padded handles and the velocity tip.

I have a 24cc (maybe 25?) echo.
Pretty light, good balance, great power. Has cruise, and is very quiet. I'm a husqvarna guy, but this echo has made a fan outta me

I like the Husq handhelds. quite a savings over the Stihl and very highly recommended online. Pm Tlandrum (wickedworksaws.com) he has great pricing.

I was not impressed with the BG86. The H125b is a good machine after getting rid of the cat in the muffler.

I guess it depends on the specific electric and gas blowers. I upgraded to a husky 125 B from a plug in Black & Decker. The 125 is much more powerful but could use some anti vibe. Maybe I could find some rubber to wrap around the 125's handle.

Looked at the Shindaiwa EB254 handheld blower.
Very nice, but for $269 it should be.
Anybody use one?
Is it better, worse or on par with the Stihl BG86.?
