T9X-61/ 4938V4/ J24 58 3/8 81E is the information on this TOTAL/TSUMURA bar. Does anyone have a link to an application guide for the above mentioned?  :monkey:

Can you measure the width of the bar mount? Large Husky is 9mm, Older saws are 9.5, and I think Stihl are 12mm. Small mount husky's are 8mm I think.

My guess would be large mount husky. I can't find those numbers anywhere. It is 3/8" .058 gauge (most husky's use this gauge) and 81 drive links, that is all I can help you with. Sorry.

I am puzzled as well with the 81 links this bar would take. Any huskies I have dealt with are 84 links as mentioned by SawTroll. I was hoping to help out a seller on ebay auction Item number: 200219953883 I would hate to see some one purchase and the bar won't work for them. Thanks to all who have replied thus far.:chainsaw:

The Oregon mount type D176 in 24" bars used 81dl chains. These were the Echo/Poulan/ Mcculloch bars. Most were .050 but I imagine that .058 were able to be had.

Edit, after looking at that link, and seeing the short bar slot, I am pretty sure its a D176 mount.

Some of the older echo's took 81 links. The 20" was 70dl and the 24" was 81dl I think. I also think the tail pattern is close to a large husky but the slot for the studs was wider. I've never seen .058 on an echo though. The auction said stuff from the 50's to 60's is what he bought out.

I agree with cuttinscot on the pricing, that $24.99 to start on an old stock, rusty bar is a little steep. ;)

Thank you trimmmed. Echo saw makes sense. I will pass on the information to the seller.

Jonsered 920, 930 saws use a 81 drive link chain with a 24" bar. There are others.

Thanks Ray, forwarded your information. We'll see if the seller changes his description.

Too much $ for a rusty bar IMO

also hes a "power seller" LOL and cant even take a quality pic.........

Well, from the pic it sure isn't a small Husky mount bar.

From the list of saws he mention in the ad, it really should be a large Husky bar, but I don't think it is - more like a D176 or even more likely a D024 (older Jonsered) one, or something like that (9.5mm slot - will be sloppy on a large Husky mount saw).

The above is mostly speculation, I would simply avoid, unless I was desperate, and wanted something that might fit an old saw of mine..........

I'm positive its not a large Husky mount.

The Large Husky D009 and the Echo/Poulan D176 mounts are the same except for the slot size, the tail shape and the oil holes are the same. The Husky has a 9mm slot that is much longer than the D176's 8mm slot.

In fact I run the large Husky mount bars on my Echo CS750EVL. I had to make a spacer for it. The reason for doing so was that D176 bars are hard to come by over 24" long and the bar studs are so close together the spacer was made longer to help support the longer bar better.

In fact Troll you would like this old Echo, It has a inboard clutch..

Which model small mount huskies take an 81dl chain?

Your correct, they don't. They take 84 just like the large mounts.

How many saws take a small Husky mount anyway that you would want a 24" on. Maybe a 262xp in pine..

Oregon small mount 240RNDA095 or a Windsor 24CJL50STA would be 81 driver and fits the husk 262 and the like

K095 would be the 84 driver

I think the 357/359. The 359 is touted as a pro thinning saw or some such and I think the 24" was offered on both of them... less bending over was the reason. The 362 was also a small mount, however I think it has changed to a large mount now.
