Never bought a saw from Fleabay, guess now I never will....
Found my RA on CL tho.....good score.

I still don't think I lost out, the seller was more then fair after he was convinced I wasn't trying to scam him.

In fact, he did offer to refund all money including shipping! It was my choice to keep the saw at a reduced cost.

I was just disapointed that a desireable to me saw was almost destroyed by someones mistake.

When it's all said and done it will be all good.

Well I'm going to tear it down tomorrow and look closer. I dont have a good feeling about the cyl. Piston could probably be cleaned up. Rings are hard to find.

If I can I will fix it, if not theres alot of good hard to find parts on it, of course there the wrong color to use on the Poulans :)

mark whats the part # on the rings ?

You can get decent HD rentals for less than half that. There is quite a bit on it here. I think their bottom line is $185 at HD. For that money, you could get the rental, upgrade to 7900 top end, and still have some cash left.

As others have posted there is a demand for Orange Dayton parts. I also need a few.

Still, not too far. I need to travel to Adrian soon anyway.

I'd rather get a Stihl, but if the price is right, this will work. The ad says firm, but he still may deal. Not bad, that is, as long as it IS brand new, never used.

I still think that price is a bit high. For your time and gas just save up and buy one locally.

Try to find a former HD rental unit. Many are in great shape. Here's mine.
