You make a valid point there:) However, I bet this saw will hold it's value better than many other investments, although prices are down on them right now. 1 1/2 to 2 years ago this saw would have brought $2000-$2500 I'd dare say.

Enough of the game playing, lol. This saw will soon be finding its way into my stable! I never dreamed I'd own one in this kind of condition. The seller and I have been dealing back and for on it for a little while. Something came up that he really wanted which forced me to make a decision. Thus the reason the auction was ended.

great looking saw brad, I also saw it on ebay for 1500 buy it now. If I wasnt in the process of building a house I might have considered it. I figured it was one of yours when you posted pics of it on a desk, dont know to many folks other than some of us AS guys that would put a saw on a desk  Looks good

This is a nice,,,090....

What I would give for one in that kinda shape..If I had the funds 1500.00 would be a pretty good deal on one cause I seen alot of em go on fleabay for at least a grand and they looked like they been run hard....That one isnt hurt,,you can see by the orig. paint on the bottom and bar....
I'm still kinda lost to know if you bought it Brad,,but if you did,,,thats one model Stihl I'd hang on to like my SP125...There isnt that many out there anymore in a decent shape...Wow....I wish I had one that nice in my stall..........

Let's see..... If you bought FoMoCo a couple of months ago for say $1.70. And this week it was $7.00 plus. So, for $1500 you could have bought 880 shares and sold it this week for $6160. If you invested in a very stable bond fund for say till retirement (25 years) at 4% that would be $16,400. If you could squeeze 5% out of an investment it would be right at $21,000. If you can manage to get the historical growth that the market has seen over the longterm and manage 10% return, then that would grow to $ 69,958.

Sounds alot like the sp125...I say you dont have to worry about handlin a 6ft bar at all....
You get time please post a vid of her for us...Would love to see it !!!!!

6'. Yes, I believe it will. Same bar mount. I might squirt it with Stihl grey and paint the Stihl logo on it. Then hang that bad boy over my desk:)

LOL, is your ceiling trusses going to be able to hold such a collateral load:laugh:

090 values have crested and are on their way down. They'll soon be (already are) unwanted relics from the past. As the older generation dies off, no one is going to care about those saws.
