It's only work for those not infected with CAD looking for an excuse to run their saws:D

It is a great excuse to run my saws...but after the cutting, it's work! But it's good for me...especially when I sit in front of a computer for my day job.

I have been trying not to get into this fight I dont take sides I think Gink has one awesome running 7900 and I think Brad is one of the most helpful people on this site I just hope we can all get along remember we are here to have fun.

We get along just fine we just have some difference of opinions on some subjects as like this one:D I'm trying to not be to negative about this subject but certain aspects of it is wearing:angry:

I have said it before I don't hate Brad or anything, I wish we could have kept the discussion about saws though, but I think I see what the deal is, it isn't the saw Brad has a problem with it's the man who did it, if another reputable builder did this saw then it would be praised, but since there has been hard feelings, Brad is attacking the saw and builder. If TW would have done the saw would Brad have been so skeptical;)

Sounds like fun to me. Get some pics or video if you can for us CAD nuts here to look at.

I've been taking pics of the 40" as I cut on it, and pics of each load I take (so far just one load). I'll be getting pics of the big'un too. I cut alone, so probably no pics/vids of me cutting.

Your exactly right! The problem is that a lot of that flack stems from RS influenced individuals over here simply to cause trouble. Pot stirrers in general just looking for a fight.

I just read this, I hope you are not implying I am, also I think we talked about this before, not everyone that disagrees with you or you disagree with is from RS either. I know Maldeney got accused of that, and I had to laugh the other day because he made his first post there last week. ;)

Frank, I've been very careful to make sure you knew that you are not the one I have a problem with. And let me reiterate. You've got an awesome saw there and I hope you have a blast with it.

No offense Ian but where have you been reading, every thread here anymore comes to this, read any of Brads threads lately and this is what it is arguing and calling people out. It's been the norm for awhile. I don't see any difference.

None taken. I do spend 90% of my time in the Firewood section. Maybe that accounts for it.

Brad,

Not everyone from RS has the same opinion, and you are not telling your story like it is. Maybe you should spend more practicing instead of bickering on the forum. I think you have a lot more potential that you haven't even scratched the surface of yet. Don't let what you read on a computer get to you, and don't be afraid to try new things.

I realize they're not all bad apples. But the few there are, spoil the barrel. And I'm not here to bicker. But I will tell the truth and defend myself when attacked. Yes, a thicker skin might be warranted. I admit I have a real hard time keeping my mouth shut when pot stirrers come along. I might be better severed to simply let the dead bury the dead. It all comes out in the end.

Brad,

Where were you attacked in this thread?

This is true and I knew that, I was just to wrapped up in this section of AS. Yes the firewood section is one of the most laid back forums here, and a good place to hang out, same with the milling section ;)

Too bad we can't just all head to the woods together, cut some firewood, enjoy some good food, and have a good time. All this other crap would soon be forgotten! Sounds like a good old GTG is needed:) Only problem there, is we all want to start racing and seeing who has the fastest saw, lol:bang:

Brad,

Got a link? I've missed it and my limited search doesn't yield anything.

Brad,

Is that your way of saying, "No"?
