Dogs east coast spelling. bump spikes on the front of a chainsaw used to assist in leverage
Dawgs west coast spelling. Falling spikes used as a pivot point and to hold saw up while felling trees.

East coast=anywhere east of the rocky mountains.
Long bar east coast 20" or longer
Long bar west coast 36" or longer

Cookies - Thin slices from trunk rounds
BS - Questioning the posters veracity
YMMV - Your milage may vary
Rounds - un-split trunk sections



Yes, it is good to note that we do lose clarity in the "east coast" to "west coast" translation.

I can't add diddly squat, but I sure do enjoy this thread. It took me a while to figure some of these out over the years that I've been here. Wish someone would have done this a few years ago. Thanks all. JR
