Pfffffffft, blue is my favorite color,:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
Yes I understand Foredom's are the very best. If I did alot of grinding I'd get one but my grinding goes no farther than the house here.
This is the Dremel 9903 I use mostly.
Does anyone know where I can get a similar shape bit in 3/32-2.35mm?
Won't the Dremmel take 1/8" Al ?
I had to bodgy a Dremmel collet to get those silly little 3/32 burrs to run in my 1/8" grinder
Rick, My dremel will take both 3/32" and 1/8" with chuck that I'm using.
It's for my contra angle for doing the upper transfers that uses the 3/32" bits.
I have a range of 3/32" bits, but they are all a little too bulbous.
I have one bit that I use, but ideally a bit similar to that Dremel bit would be ideal for the uppers.
Al, is the angle attachment a Dremmel or something else ?
Al, have you tried the Dremel reinforced cutoff wheels to get into the upper transfers?
The Dremel wheel ID# is 426, the arbor ID# is 402.
If not, view these folks site, I'm sure they have the bit you need. http://www.monstertool.com/monster_tool_burr_monster.html

Nate, what I was finding was I couldn't get in as far as I wanted to.
I was leaving angles, to me shouldn't be there.
For instance when you angle the trans toward the inlet, you could only go in so far, so you were left with two angles instead of taking that angle to the rear of the transfer and the same when raising.
I went back into a cyl I did previous and it looks so much better.
Just a tip, those little mirrors on the rod/extension watchamacallit thingy's are great for checking out your uppers.
Thanks for the catalogue mate.
Yeah Nate, that catalogue is awesome too.
I noticed the burr I'm after uses the same no. elsewhere also.

Hmmm, It seems Dremel needs to step up to the plate and manufacture us chainsaw guys a special 90 degree tip for upper trans.
Dremel makes a 90 degree attachment, but I think it's too big for small cylinders.
