I am proud that I helped sell a Stihl 362 today while walking into my dealer. He pretty much had his mind made up when I told him that I owned a Stihl 361. Nothing beats experience with chainsaws....this man bought the saw with cash money

i tried like crazy to talk my farmer buddy into a pro saw, explained all the differences, even sent him home with an 026 & 029. He was set on a pro saw, went to the dealer and walked out with a 390????

Sold plenty of dolmar 5100 and 7900 myself. Let them run the saw once and its like a big mouth bass on a senko. No contest. Funny, everyone that has run my ms361 doesn’t run right out and buy one. I wonder why that is???

Would not mind testing a 7900 out.

I should have called but I left the house before the dolmar dealer
opened. I drove 50 miles to the only dolmar dealer around, his biggest
dolmar saw was smaller than the 5100. After that I have never
give dolmar another look and won't until they have a dealer closer
that has some saws on the shelf. I don't want to hear "I can order one"

To stay OT, I have a 361 that I really like but am going to pickup 362 demo
this weekend to try out :)

Cool, you may have saved him from the ugly fate of buying a 391 or 311!

Cant help you and wont comment on the use of a phone and a simple question before a long drive. Plenty of post about a makita dcs6401 and OEM cylinder but again I wont debate that with you. If Stihl floats your boat , have at it. Need more? Get it chopped, hacked, whacked, ported and poked. Your choice. Other options exist. Cant get at em?? Well that’s your problem. At least you know about them.
