Sorry to say it Calvin, but I have to agree with these folks. It'd only be worthwhile to you if you could cherry pick the stuff that'd sell (SXL and XL925 pistons, Jugs, carbs, etc) and leave the rest. With times as tough as they are for everybody right now, I can't see you being able to gather 'investors' for something like this. Also, the market for these parts is so unstable. You could sell most of it in a month on feebay and through your store...........or you could sit on it for two long years. If your only option is to 'take the whole lot' for anywhere near the money he's asking, then I'd have to suggest you pass up the deal. Even if you could build up a few NOS saws out of parts, you'd still have a tough time recouping your investment.
If you're somehow able to get 'the good stuff'....................well then I
would be interested in an NOS piston and cylinder for a Homelite 900D. A57090 for the slug, and A58289 for the jug. I would also be interested in a couple of NOS SXL pistons and cylinders, as well as at least one NOS XL925 P/C and one Super E-Z P/C.
I'd be interested in bars for C-Series/XP-Series Homelites as well. Some of the 'common' sellers for you would be clutch covers for the S E-Z, SXL/XL12, XL900 series, and C/XP/2000 series saws. Same of course for pistons, cylinders, carbs, bearings, and gaskets for all of these saws.
As for complete saws..........................well I don't see any NOS saws in the photos you posted unfortunately. I may be interested in an NOS XL925, SXL-AO, or Super E-Z Automatic if you can get 'em and they're not crazy expensive. I know at least one other fellow that's looking for an NOS or mint XL12 or SXL.
A complete runner or parts XL925 or Super E-Z Auto would be interesting to me too......................but only if they're reasonably priced. Those saws aren't rare (yet), and shipping is expensive.....
I'd pay $1,000 I have a trucking company that could pick it up next Thursday.
If you get the lot, I'm sure you'll be receiving some PM's....
