My never leave home without it saw is a echo 4400, I also have the Echo 8000 and a husky 61.. each one has their own purpose, but 90% of the time I use the 4400

Don't pay attention to people that have never run one or the 30000 RPM crowd, the 6700 is not the highest RPM saw but has tons of torque , as mentioned above set up with the right chain they cut fast. Steve

Those 4400 saws are nice, I changed mine to a 3/8 lp 6 tooth setup. Now it cuts faster than my CS400 Echo saws that put some big name 53 and 56 cc to shame. Don't go 3/8 7 tooth, no help. Steve

well i bought the saw. does anyone know about how well the air filters are on it? it seems cheap. is there a way to make the newer 670 air filter on it? also i heard about putting a 8000 carb on it. apparently it bolts right up.
