So what's so easy about it again?:hmm3grin2orange:

Like I said, not using Stihl's oil hose kit. Stihl's engineers have designed some damn fine items,
but they've bungled a few things too. After the first few I did, I quickly learned my lesson.
Since then I've done a few hundred without a hitch.

Another thing they really bungled was the "snap-on" inner guide plate with the corresponding
"guide tabs." That was such a mess that they dropped it almost immediately.

Looking for a 290 clutch cover and a 021 clutch cover.

Have green to trade, and some ms 250 parts.
Please pm me if you have both or one. Thanks.

Yep JJ, end of it is broke off in the pump I think there is enough meat in there to pull it out.

Should I just get the kit so Ill have the stuff here?

Id hook you guys up with the parts if it was mine. Cant have Stihls laying around :) hahah. Well besides project zipenstein

The kit number that Pogo gave does not have the parts you need. It is simply a replacement black hose.
The part you need is the entire oil pump housing. You see, the hose bib on the pump housing is metal
and it is cast into the pump housing, and Stihl does not provide a way to replace it. It wouldn't be worth
trying to anyway. You'd likely end up ruining the pump housing. The easiest fix is a replacement oil pump.
Like I said, I think I have the housing somewhere and you can put the guts into it out of your old one.

I'm in need of a clutch and brake handle for a 046/460. The brake handle will have to be for a 460/046 but the clutch from a 044/440 or a 046/460 will work.

I have stuff to trade. Or worthless government notes.....

Anybody here have an ignition switch for an old Jonsereds?--70, 801, 90, 621, etc... Looking for the lower profile factory style. An oversize hardware store style switch just isn't cutting it.
