Well got a beloved 562 in the shop today, customer report said hard/no start hot. Diagnostic software showed nothing abnormal, 21 hours on the saw, no error codes. Tank vent checked out ok, compression good, vacuum/pressure tested cyl and that also passed. Needle valve had a very slow leak to it. Upon running it I noticed an abnormal amount of bar oil coming from the front of the saw, pulled the muffler off again and saw it oozing out the crankcase split! So after a short amount of time on the phone with warranty auth. I've got a new carb, crankcase gasket and 357xp case screws on the way. Fortunately this is the first AT we've had problems with. I have not split the case yet, although I did notice a service bulletin for crank bearing problems, has anyone else seen this?
