Sorry to get your hopes up-- the recoil side of the saw I have is missing, I have most of the stuff
on the right side of the points box.

Thanks for looking!

I have a spare recoil, but I just had to steal some parts off of it. One of the little hooks that holds the spring on that works the dog broke off of my MM, so I swapped out the whole assembly. In the IPL the whole piece including dogs is called the friction shoe. I'm assuming this is the piece your talking about. If not, let me know, and I should have what you need.

Thats exactly the part I'm talking about, the end broke of one side of this one as well. I'll find one sooner or later. In the mean time its actually working with just one dog, but probably wont last that way too long.

Thanks.

I've got a big Mcculloch powered cut off saw. It's in decent shape but the fuel tank has a lot of scale in it from sitting. I didn't want to put fuel in it so I shot some mixed gas in the carb and if fired up. Looking to trade it for a nice running mcculloch pro mac 700

Looking for a large (32" - 42") bar (plus chain?) .063 for a Homelite 1130G. Hard nose or roller nose preferred. I have various parts and ca$h to trade. Please PM me if you can help out. Thanks!

SP 125 C oil tank needed

Mark,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I've been searching for a short time now, have only seen one on ebay. Just missed out on my bid to win that tank two days ago. That's the only one I've seen. Is there a way to contact saw parts sellers via ebay to ask them if they have one that isn't advertised but is in there inventory? Or is there a better search method that I'm not aware of?

I am also planning to ask my local saw shop soon to see if they know of any in my area. They sell the orange saws but have been around for a while and will hopefully know where to send me.

Any help is always appreciated.

I'm picking up a bunch of saws on Friday and a few that I know are there are some old mag. Let me know if you're interested in any of them, cause most of these are gonna stay there if no one speaks up.

361 poulan - I believe complete with good p/c
Super xl homie. I think this one is munched, but complete-ish
Xl homie- I think this one would run with a little work.
A bunch of smaller homies and a couple of mini macs.

Looking for a flywheel for a Remington PL-7. #64739

And, a Lombard auto oiler check valve. Dead or alive. I know how to fix 'em and use 'em on Remingtons.

I have stuff or slim green checks.

Carl, I have some kind of Lombard carcass in the shop. I'll try to snap a pic of it, maybe you can tell if it will work for ya.

Carl, I believe this thing is a Lombard. Not sure what your needing, but if want it... it's yours.
If you don't want, if anybody else needs it, gimme a pm. The p/c look great. I'm guessing 60ish cc??

Wagnerwerks has me covered on the check valve.

If someone wants that Lombard carcass I can supply most of the missing parts to that saw. Recoil, clutch cover, air box and filter etc.

Make someone a good running AP-42 type. At 69cc they have snort. They have very impressive power and speed.

Carl.

May be a bit late on the answer but here it is anyway, go to the bottom of the e-bay listing - there will be a "Contact Seller", click on that and choose "Other", you can then send a message.

Do any of you old mag Homie types know if the XL piston and SXL are the same or is it a bore and stroke difference? i have a nice looking SXL that has a scored piston and am looking for a donor.

SXL is 1/16" larger IIRC. There are SXL piston w/ring kits all over evilbay. Carefull shopping and you can get it for 40 USD delivered.

Not late at all Mark. I've got time and patience knowing that this part isn't the easiest to come by. Thanks for sharing the process. I'll give it a try. I checked with my local saw shop owner. He's putting the word out to old loggers around here to try and find one.

Anyone have or know of a source for starter pawl spring(s) for a Poulan 4000? Also will ones form other models work?

Post a pic. of one next to or on top of a ruler. Starter pawls tend to be generic. Many Homelite, Pioneer, Lombard etc. look alike and interchange.

I myself have quite a collection from various parts carcasses.

Messed up pawl spring, I looked at the super XL on the shelf and they do not look like they will work but I did not try either

What ID and OD tubing should be in place for the tank vent hose? I looks like it is replaced by pulling through from the inside of the tank out?

Starter pawl springs.

Pic. of the type I have in leftovers. Mostly from Lombard and Homelite. The hook fits around the pawl and the tail rests against a flywheel fin. Eye part goes over the pivot stud boss. Preloads the notched end of the pawl against the end of the crankshaft.
