I saw it on Ebay/Craigslist

It's pretty easy for a crooked USPS employee to make a package "disappear" if they want to. About six weeks ago I shipped a near-new 32" Cannon bar for regular Stihl mount to a member here. It went USPS "Package services" with insurance and a tracking number. I dropped the bar off at Goin' Postal because it was a Saturday and I was headed to work. USPS picked up the bar but it was never scanned into the system. Long story short- I was never able to track the bar and USPS wouldn't pay off on the insurance because the bar wasn't scanned into the system.

The other day I'm at a local pawn shop and they have an 064 for sale- with my bar on it.

This just in:

Oregon police are looking for a hairy naked man who smells of radishes and resembles the muppet Beaker, after a pawn shop owner was severely beaten about the head, neck, chest and breast area with a live halibut.

Story at 11.

I sent the seller a message.......told him the story and said it would be great if you could do the right thing......I'm sure I'll never hear back from him. Oh well......it's just money. :msp_unsure:

That saw got gone in the mail. The crooked USPS denied my insurance claim and I never got anything. I replaced the saw as it belonged to a member here. I would love to know how I could get it back......

Maybe file a stolen property claim with EBay or the state police?

Ebay is hard to talk with........no one that answers the phone speaks English very well. They sent me a link to report a stolen item......then refused my report.

eBay sucks.

oh oh, you gave him a heads up, he will cancel the auction and disappear.....call the law...all of them...everyone...somebody needs to g to jail...

I called local law enforcement to ask their advice. They say a federal crime is being committed and told me to report this to the FBI.......they are closed on the weekends.

No, they're not. Trust me.

(404)679-9000 is the Atlanta field office.

Press 2 to speak to someone, I believe.

Make sure they know you are dealing with a USPS case and not an Internet matter.

I agree. I used to sell a bunch there. Now they've made it so easy for buyers to walk away and you can't even leave feedback.

056 Mag II

Here's one for those who didn't believe the 056 had a v-stack. There is one for sale, attached to an 056, for a lot more money than I think is reasonable. Personally, I never liked the set-up. I didn't like the filter touching my hand.

Anytime you have people on the phone, you have the ability to pull them out of their robot brain fog. Those people who do not speak well are in the Philippines. Start talking about how great the new pope is and what they are going to do after work, then joke about buying them a beer after work. After this you will have access to any level of eBay via transfer. And the person on the phone will help you beyond what they are normally allowed to do.
