I got my 034S back from Randy a couple months ago, but I haven't had a chance to put it into wood until now.

It's a beast. I ran a 18" 3/8 RS chain on it with an 8 pin sprocket. It pulled it like a champ and I could lean in it in 16" wood.

The clutch seemed to slip a little when I really leaned on it, but I'm not surprised with the 8 pin.

Also got to run the 460 for the first time since I got it. Ran good, but had trouble idling for more than a few seconds. I'll have to do a tune up.

And some pics. .

Haha I'm going to laugh if he text me in the morning saying we blew his thread up all night.

Btw Shawn is my cousin and also his older brother is on here too

Hahaha

It's party my fault it took him so long to get this saw into some wood. I would tell him we were cutting wood then something would come up. But of course I wasn't around today. If I like this saw enough Randy. I might be sending u an 038s to u to convert to a mag and port.

I really love my 034 and wouldn't take anything for it.
What sort of gains are you seeing...as opposed to stock?

I'm wrestling with the thought of a muffler mod...
