That's funny you mention that..I have a logging friend that has a sawmill he owes me stuff and I told him get me 3 12x12 cants so I can practice with...that was 4 weeks ago..nothing yetAs of right now I should have 1 8x8 & 1 10x10.
The guy I had milling is as reliable as a AMC Gremlin.
I was w supposed to have 3 of each but this guy is a lazy procrastinator.
We will probably end up milling our own poplar cants in the AM when we get there
Given the source, I'm surprised we got we what we got.I just picked up what he milled. 2 8's and 1 10. And let me tell you parts of them still have rounded edges!!
We should have at least twice as much as what we have now. At least that's what we bargained for 6 weeks ago.Looks like we well have lots of race wood

Thanks for picking up the cants Ryan.I'll bring my mill and the 288...
Any time Jeremy! Thanks for picking up the cants Ryan.
I appreciate it a lot and so will many others.
I just so happen to have a set of cases for a 281/288....but I don't think I can part with them. But I do have a 266 for you!Looking forward to seeing your 288 again. Cool saw. Can't wait to get my cases back from Moody someday so I can build one for myself. Something tells me I should find another set of cases???!!!
