Hmmm... Didn't see Pro Mac 700 on the list.
Too bad it's not in the 70-80cc category...agreed.
the 681 would steal the lunch money of all the other saws in this class.
I would say a category by weight would be a better comparison. For example a 7900 and 372 close on weight I like husky and the 372 but I hear a lot of good things about the dolmar. 385/390 is a lot heavier saw I have one and a 372 there not the same in small wood with short bars don't tell the story you gotta put the big boys in big wood with lots of bar to shine. Who buys a 385 to run a 20" bar on anyway? This is what I do 60cc 20" 70cc 24" 385 everything above 24". Yea the 372 will pull more so will the 562 or 359 but I rather grab another saw then swap bars.
I wish you guys would post a weight class instead of cc... say 13.5-14.5lbs Whatever cc you can squeeze in. heck the stihl 362 and 440 are only a couple ounces off but there is really no comparison. I voted for the 372xpw. Although I prefer the 1/2 wrap on the 372 with 75cc. After that is would be a diagonal fin 044 with 3/4 wrap.
I got this one. Trade marked by wigglesworth. What's a DullMar?
Old school, yes...372's always win these polls. All the saws listed are obviously quality, but there is just something special bout a 372xp! And these votes are split between 3 different versions of the saw. Just something about a 372 that seems to hit the sweet spot for so many applications! Can't go wrong with a 372!
Let me tell you I had a 2009 goldwing with a traxxion suspension front and rear and I could destroy 600cc class race bikes on a curvy road . I had to replace both foot pegs about every oil change . I never did try jumping it though [emoji32] .I dont have a 80cc saw. But i have used ms880 ms660 440 and the husky 372 stock was a beast in a large sugar maple able to burry the bar and could not stop it. when the 660 was struggling with light pressure. I like like stihls but when stock saw to stock saw battle goes husky is the motox saw vs the honda goldwing cruiser
I love the sv650 s. Do yourself a favor and upgrade the suspension on your goldwing and you will never look back . The front forks are a joke with weak springs and the anti dive valve makes braking hard into a corner just plain scary .

Your experience is very different than mine. Although they handle extremely well the 400 pound weight difference is a lot to overcome.
The VFR 800 was a hoot. It is the only bike I ever had that was quieter than a Goldwing and had better lighting.
Bring it to Gratten and see if you can keep up with a stock SV 650 set up for sport touring with Penske shocks braided lines fork emulators handlebar setbacks and heated grips.
I used to go down to summit . The drz was my favorite . My buddy at about 400 pounds used to embarrass liter bikes on his 1150 gs . That boy could ride . There should be videos he put on YouTube I'll have to find them . My goldwing would stay rite with the 1150 gs

It isn't even a sport bike, just a neked standard with a windshield. The blue one. Oh I am real old also. Can hardly walk. There is one bike in this list that you would have a very good chance against...
I would be skeered to race it.
