I started listening to Cream first.
Never looked back.
SRV with BB King or his brother Jimmy. Or Buddy Guy.
I enjoy Cream. I like the Bruce/Baker combination. Just couldn't relate to their music too well but the it wasn't bad I don't think. I have Disraeli Gears on cassette
CCR had my favorite rhythm section. The ladder of your post are too old for me ;) (excluding SRV who I've never looked into that much)

Meh. Many were better
The Band for one. Ever see "The Last Waltz"?

I have, and believe I have the album - but I don't even remember for sure who made it,....

It is some time since I really was interested in such stuff. Lots of groups and artists made great albums, but the ones that kept a continued high level were few and far between.

Ha, loving this thread! Every logger and arborist i kno here in bc interior runs huskys, but i don't kno them all, but i ran em when i was a bucker, and 2100's ruled the world in big cedars for the fallers( that should tell u it's been a while since i was logging!) My son is an arborist, they run huskies, but also have an 020 and an echo he climbs with. Everyone who says dodge sucks has had their ass kicked by a mopar at some point in their lives, usually the ford guys who still stand behind the worst diesel engine ever built ( yup, the 6l), or the chev guys who are just brand brainwashed, almost as bad as stihl guys! Led zepplin? Probly top 5 greatest rock band ever, oh an kawasaki builds the best moto bikes on the planet! We live in a wonderful world of so many choices of fine machinery and the right to choose, i'm just right that's all!

The Last Waltz was a Martin Scorsese film of The Band's last concert. There was a dinner and many guest performers.

I agree many should have quit while they were ahead.

I saw Cream in 2005. Scary good.

The Dead had good and bad nights.

Winwood. Clapton. Most of the Blues guys seem to improve. P
