Same thing happens to new back in December. I had the saw about 9 months. 107 hours in it. It has the same symptoms as yours does now. They tell me it's because of bad gas... they call me 30 mins later and say the decomp had a leak and cylinder is scorched. Now they say I get a new saw..... now 4 months later on the 2015 new saw it's doing the same thing my 1st 2014 saw they replaced is doing! It may need a trip to the dealer:mad:

Damn that sucks!
Thanks for the feedback ... I'm guessing this will come in handy when speaking to the Husky rep. My decomp valve showed some carbon around the edge (that I cleaned up), so might just be the same thing on mine.

Seems the days of buying bullet proof anything are long gone :nofunny:
Wondering how the new Stihl 362 will hold up?

ya would like to get hands on a Dolmar but no dealers around here. It's all Husky and Stihl at pro level saws in my neck of woods.

Is Makita the same as Dolmar? Same easy start - same 2 year warranty - look the same - specs seem the same.

Oh man this sounds like bad news, not the good news I was hoping for with an easy fix . whatever's causing it my saw has had this hot start issue since new ! They replaced the carburetor which gave it significantly more power but the hard start when hot problem is still there. So far there has been nothing but about 10 gallons of premium ethanol free gas mixed with Husqvarna 50-1 oil run through my saw.

32:1 or 40:1 would have been better.

Better how ? Why would Husqvarna recommend 50-1 if 40-1 or 30-1 was better ? I have used nothing but 50-1 in all my 2 stroke stuff since about 1981 and never any trouble caused by insufficient oil use, at least none that I'm aware of.

These new strato charged saws need a little more oil. The epa does not want that though, is the reason for 50:1.

I read this a lot. Has anyone ever seen anything where the EPA specified oil mix ratios? Or is it just that it's harder to pass the tests with more oil? I actually understood that 50:1 pre-dates the emissions regs, but my memory could be faulty.

No they have never not. 50:1 came about along time before the EPA.

50:1 today is still a bit excessive in the fuel/oil usage in handheld OPE, EPA emissions regs are well behind the time versus those in Europe where the major saws are built.

guess one can't type o p eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, must be offensive

Well I ran the my new 562 for eight hours this past weekend. All I can say is the saw performed flawlessly. I made sure to shut her down after making several long cuts and left it sit in direct sunlight to heat soak for a few minutes. The saw start up without any problems what so ever.

Guys this is the internet, people tend to post problems more than anything else, so always take what's posted with a big grain of salt. I've seen so called sharp chains, I've seen others mix fuel, and we all know that sometimes not all the appropriate information is always divulged.

I'm not saying that's what is going on here, just be sceptical about what's posted as we really don't know the whole story most of the time.
