Feels like PHO to be honest... like there's not even a bar on it.

i run the 36" stihl lights and even they feel PHO compared to a cannon lol best bar available IMO mostly because of the weight but the tips seem to last the longest as well.

Both my MS-440R and my 361 run ES Light bars (28" and 20" respectively) and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I've also found that the aluminum insert used in the ES Light bars seems to dissipate heat faster than a standard ES bar, resulting in less slack in the chain once warmed up.

As a side note, these are a VERY recent release from Stihl, and your dealer may be unaware that they even exist. But insist that they do, and are available. here's the part numbers for the bars.

Part #s below are for 3/8" .050

20" ES Light - 3003-000-2221
25" ES Light - 3003-000-2231

Sorry, those are the 3/8" .050 part numbers. I believe there are .063 bars as well... I'll check in the morning.

Brad, I have always felt that the ES Light bars are in a realm all their own when it comes to lightweight chainsaw bars. When i found out that Stihl has released 20 and 25 inch versions, i had to have em! I love my ES Light 28", and the 20" just reinforced my love for these bars.

Thanks! The 20" light was exactly what I was hoping for. That makes my next saw buy easy now. :)

20" - Rollomatic ES light - 2lbs 1 ounce
20" - Rollomatic E - 2lbs 5 ounces
25" - Rollomatic ES - 3lbs 10 ounces
28" - Rollomatic ES - 2lbs 11 ounces
32" - Oregon power match - 4lbs 8 ounces
32" - Rollomatic ES light - 3lbs 5 ounces
36" Rollomatic ES - 5lbs 2 ounces

More then a pound difference on the 32"!!!!
All of the light bars I have have more black paint on them compared to all of the bars I see online just have the black lettering... Are they designed differently or just different paint scheme. Which is newer?

The black background w white lettering is the new logo. Heres an example of both logos... The older logo is the upside down one.

The design is exactly the same, only the logo has changed.
