I can help you there. You're getting a hard time from everyone because you give a hard time to everyone. Some call it Karma, some say 'you reap what you sow.'

I hope someday you'll discover that if you be friendly to people, they are friendly back to you.

Shame you missed my sarcasm.

Is being friendly being professional?

I think being friendly was what got the lady into this mess with the ape man in the first place. I mean there she was being friendly and there was the ape man being friendly back and the next you know professionalism has gone out the window.

If your friendly to people they just try to take advantage of you. Man I wish I could figure out where this utopia is you people live in

There's a difference between being taken advantage of and being friendly. You can still be friendly and tell people "Sorry, no deal."

Accurate observation.
... but, I'm back. :D
You can all thank me for that. My PM to her paid off! Never thought I would pursue someone who left AS, but a good member like her needs to stick around. However, some of the rest of you..... :buttkick:

Shame you missed my sarcasm.

Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet. I would think a PhD would understand that concept.

That's why I use these silly smileys so much. They add a bit of information that takes too long to write out, and even though one can be a careful writer, some of you are sloppy readers.

Yup. These guys are easily trolled.
No comment, except to say you're the biggest bullchitter and back stabber that ever entered the bush. Lol
You are an embarrassment to what it means to be a logger and broke every rule to what it means to be one.
It's not too hard to see everything you learned about the bush, you learned in the coffee shop.
Pathetic.

Looking back thru the posts, the OP was totaly at fault, she had something winking at tree guy dude and wearing a thong was just not right, however, I still would have done the job for free, had it been girl.
It's all about good will and doing something else for somebody regardless of intentions with no strings attached.

Uh, I think I missed the part about the thong. The first post said she was dressed for professional work.

(unless she's a professional thong model....)

Yeah, what you said about sloppy readers.. The abundance of grammatical errors only adds to the confusion. I think I'll start a thread on correct usage of "your / you're", "there / their", "to / too". etc. Maybe it could be a sticky.

Great idea. It would be a good "go-to" post and save on repetitive typing. ;)

Oh no. Not again. Please say you're joking.
Generally speaking, yes, "It's all about good will and doing something else for somebody regardless of intentions with no strings attached."
But, NOT what's going on here.
I was seeking advice from a professional, not a favor from a friend, and what I got instead was insult, trespassing, and property damage.

Stop twisting the truth, she wasn't wearing a thong, she showed up naked for the tree quote wearing nothing but purple assless chaps.
