VP is good stuff. I buy a case every spring when napa puts it on sale. Usually pretty reasonable then.
I use it to store things or tune stuff for people that only run a few tanks a year.

If you want to start a fuel fight bring up some shell v power or other nitrogen enriched fuel. That's some inconsistent and iffy stuff.

The VP is good stuff. I get it cheap on sale and use it alot it I think the saw will be put up after for any length of time. Mostly I mix using Amsoil mix though.

the vp fuel is good... stuff pricey 10-12$ qrt but 94 octane I use it or tru-fuel 93 octane 5.99 qrt the gas stations here in Utah are starting to sell the (non) ethanol fuel at the pump premium is around $7.00 a gallon mid grade $4 a gallon the can fuel I always add 2-stroke oil to about 32:1 mix it comes in the can 50 or 40:1 however the can fuel can sit in the saw for 2 plus years I have tested it myself for 2-2.5 years no problems

IMO VP is expensive compare to getting same result from the cheaper Briggs brand or tru fuel from lowes or power care brand from the depot

We sell a great deal of the Motomix and the Aspen fuel. at 10.00 a quart its spendy but the homeowners love it. The aspen is good for 5 yeas in the saw, while the stihl is rated for 2 years. It never sits that long from what I have seen.

i know a guy who mixes nitro two stroke fuel-- seems like even it was cheaper than that--lol
