Brad ... This sounds terrible, I know, but I assume the "cage" is the internal box in the inside the muffler. (If you have a min). Are you referring to removing the entire thing ? Or like the following member asked if Drilling a few holes would suffice...?You'll definitely want to open up or remove that cage.
These aren't tuned pipes. Just let them breathe. How does the dp cover affect the pressure wave
You'll definitely want to open up or remove that cage.
Yes "he" has the back half...but I got tools to take it out, if I get to feel froggy and all...very strange that one aye. 460 style muff with a 660 style baffle cage. pretty ******, i bet they even furnace brazed it in so no easy spot weld grind to remove like in a OEM 660. hopefully he has an OEM back half on the saw right now and only needs that front cover.
Thank You!Yes, that internal box. You certainly can just drill holes in it. It's up to you.
So do you just completely remove these??Yes, that internal box. You certainly can just drill holes in it. It's up to you.
I meant to ask you, did you remove that cage completely or drill holes in it??If you're not worried about screens.View attachment 580965
That brand i posted has the main can completely open and large outlet with a dual port cover. There's nothing to do but bolt it on. The style you have just cut the baffle completely outI meant to ask you, did you remove that cage completely or drill holes in it??
