Was doing an inventory of what I have aquired since finding this site.

4 saws
511A Chain grinder
Chainsaw Buddy
Log Jack
Grandberg chain sharpener
More chains than I'll probably ever use
Chaps and Helmet
Speed dial to Bailey's
Whole bunch of info that will make good conversation if I ever run into a logger.

When the wife asks, "Do you really need that?" I reply, "Four Paws says I do." And she says, "And if Four Paws jumped off a bridge, would you?"
To which I reply, "I guess I'd have to, I don't know if he can swim."

I guess I'm lucky. I've only added a ms200t since joining.
I was already addicted to an excess of chainsaws before.

I have learned a lot since joining though.

alaskan 36" mill

and am currently chasing the elusive sensibly priced 090 for milling, figure once i have the biggest it will stop the craving!!!! (i hope!):greenchainsaw:

I got an empty savings account!

seriously though, I got all my PPE after joining the site, as well as my ripsaw and 361. Not to mention I would've never heard of a lewis winch otherwise. I've learned more here than in all the years growing up sawing firewood.
Good site.

Great site.

Homelite C-91
Poulan 306A
Homelite XL-12
Poulan 2150
Poulan Micro XXV
Mac Eager Beaver
30 other saws that I've parted out........and the pile keeps growing!

Besides picking up some excellent tips to improve my felling technique, I have also purchased and/or repaired the following saws:

Makita 6401
Sachs-Dolmar 111
Dolmar PS5100S (latest addition)
Stihl MS260
Stihl MS170
Stihl 009
Poulan XXV

I am going to sell some once I determine the best 3 or 4 saw combo out of the lot. I really want a Dolmar 7900 and/or a 361/440/660 for my big saw, hope to find one soon.

Eyestrain. Increased carpal tunnel. An absolute rage that I'm still on dialup. And the aquaintance of a group of very diverse and sometimes strange people that I've never met but still consider to be my friends.

A swelled head

I bought my MS361 late last fall just before I joined this site. It only took a few weeks of reading threads to convince me of just how clever a fellow I am.  Of course using it just reinforces the point!

Add a pole saw to the list

After I started this thread, I went on e-bay and found a pole saw that I couldn't live without. The list just gets longer.

I caught something called Dolmar... and my doctor has prescribed some anti-biotics and some topical cream to make it go away. Long story... :dizzy:

I also have 290 envy... and I'm lookin' for a support group for that...

Information, education, confidence in working with small engines, more PPE, strange desire to make my garage a private chainsaw owners clubhouse, (must be AS member), never have too many saws, or too big of saw, less sleep, and a fun community, even if it is online.

Everything about CSMing, 075, GB mill, 020AV(thanks Johnny), 028, XLauto. How to sharpen my chains well, for different applications,

Better thought process when approaching a takedown.

Enough knowledge to help others learn to use a chainsaw safely and with confidence.

Thanks guys/gals.
