Last night before bed I scanned the local classified adds like I often do.
Found an Add for what was described as an Olympyk 100cc chainsaw for $50.
I contacted the guy and he said he wasnt sure what it needed but he thought maybe a piston.
So I raced over there this morning and met the guy. Nice fella, bought this sawnew in 1998 from a local dealer.
He said he never used it much but did some milling and blocking with it. He said he had no clue what it needs but he thinks it needs a piston..
Saw is in great shape, it still pops when I pull it over so well see whats what when tear it down.
Heres some picks, came with a 26" bar and stihl chain.
IllI bet parts are going to be hard to come by but for $50 I figured Id roll the dice.
Maybe a 395 piston can be made to work if it comes to that???
Anyhow I suck for sure!!
Any help as to where to source parts or wether anyone has stuck a 394/395 piston in one of these??
Cool saw for sure.
