Kits gone

She called me about 2 weeks ago. We had a pleasant chat she and asked what I wanted. I asked for samples of ear plugs and a set of muffs.

Tuesday I found a fairly large package in my rural mail box that contained 1 pair of 8 different ear plugs of varying styles and sizes in a small plastic case, and a Safety Products Catalog. While disappointed they were free and appear to be well made (Howard Leight) still a heck of a deal.

Thursday my doorbell rang and something banged on the porch. When I opened the door another box awaited. It contained 2 different types of ear muffs (Bilsom Viking V3 and Leightning L3N) also well made. Thanks Beelsr, if you talk to her again give her my thanks once more please.

Just when you think things can't get much better... they do. :hmm3grin2orange: :biggrinbounce2:

I ordered a kit awhile back and also only got a piece of paper with numbers to contact distributors. Well it was worth a try. Guess they missed out as I buy ear plugs in bulk for my company.

Same here. They not only lost me as a potential customer but I've mentioned this whole charade to others. That includes the chief buyer for my employer who handles logistics for almost eight hundred employees.

And Lou, as much as I appreciate your advice about calling the lady and as valid as that might be, why should I have to? I filled out my end of the bargain. They damn well should have kept theirs.

Can you post that number for the members of AS ?
I personally don't need them.
Since I've never used hearing protection B-4,
it has caused me to go deaf years ago.
I figgured if I let the wax build up deep enough,
that would work.
Oh well, Live and Learn... :smoking:

same here. If I have to make a phone call, wait for a return call, stop working to take the call and verbally fill out the sheet I already filled out online, then these aren't free samples are they? I'll just keep buying them where I'm currently buying them. :deadhorse:

I filled out the on-line form...twice. The second time, received a voicemail. Called back and had three of the ear plug kits sent to me in the same box. Did not receive any muffs, just soft earplugs. The rubberized/plastic plugs are extremely annoying (hurt my ears after a couple of hours and do not let the pressure release) but the soft foam ones are the most comfortable I have ever worn.

When the samples are gone, I will be contacting them to inquire about buying by the case.

I made the on-line request and nothing happened.
I called the number beelsr recommended with the operator trick. I'd all but forgotten the entire thing when she called me at the office. Once I talked to her all went well. I went to the site (yesterday) www.bacou-dalloz.com and didn't see the offer any longer. The phone on the catalog is 1 (800) 343-3411. They appear to offer some pretty good safety items (including a Harley-Davidson® line). I will recommend looking at what they offer when we need safety gear, but they delivered to me. :hmm3grin2orange:

That would be quite annoying.

My apologies if I'm asking the obvious, (the last time I didn't ask an obvious question, it was a week of heck that could have been fixed instantly) but are you going through all the steps? (not just the name and address page, but all the survey pages too)
