Well after being so sure it was 3/8th chain, the dealer was wrong it is definitely McCulloch .354. Luckily I can get my money back on the other chain, now does anyone have a clue where to source .354 chain anymore?
You will be MUCH better off buying a new 3/8 drive sprocket (about $6) than you are searching for new .354 chain.Well after being so sure it was 3/8th chain, the dealer was wrong it is definitely McCulloch .354. Learned something new. That is an "Auto Mac" clutch drum with the rim type sprocket welded to the drum.

As long as you get the correct drum for the saw with a 3/8 rim there’s nothing else to worry about.I've found unlimited clutch housings out there with interchangeable sprockets for 3/8ths .050 chain.
Sorry if these are entry level questions,
But do I need to worry about spacing the new housing on the shaft?
Can I reuse the original clutch in the new housing?
And will I need a new bar that is good for 3/8 chain?
You only need the drum that is the same size as your current one, you can use your existing clutchAll of the mcculloch drums/clutches I can find are spin on style where mine has a woodruff key and a right hand thread bolt.
Does anyone have any knowledge of someone out there with .354 chain? Thinking that will just be the easiest approach at this point
