Maybe you should try a 441. Ya never know. You might like it. I'll be sure to do the same for you. The next wildthing I see I am gonna use.

I don't own a wild thing as for a 441....after I traded amy last stihl to the local saw shop for ma husky 51 that pretty much ended any hope of me going back to stihl.I only got to make a few payments and I'll have a 3120 with a 36" bar. After that I'll buy a 338.

Best 60 (plus a bit)cc saw ever made. Unfortunately, even great saws can't choose their owners.

Great saw don't make me laugh my uncle's craftsman 3.3 c.i out cut it and it was factory I never touched a thing on that saw except the pull rope. Then I got my 2 huskys and said no more stihls.

I remember when I was 18. Things seemed pretty simple and straightforward back then.

I confess I miss those days when one thought one had control over life.

Toting a 3120 is like toting a small outboard. Both my 395 and 066 pull a 36 fine and even a 42 well with a sharp chain. I can't see using a 3120 with anything less than a 50 inch bar, as it isn't necessary. (Except for milling, of course. Power is king for milling.)

No crime in wanting a big saw, though. But I would rather have a pair of 7900's than a 3120. Oh that's right, I do....

I still do fight the urge to buy a bigger saw, but the truth is I very seldom get to cut wood bigger than 60 inches true diameter.

My advice to anyone with that kind of chainsaw itch, get a square grinder and each one of your saws will cut like the next size up saw. Seriously, my 395 with my chains will pull as well as a 3120 (36 inch bar) with the typical sawyer's chain. (I know, broken record...)
