Thanks for the info , Windthrown
I just used the cheapest, Didn't think it mattered. Next time I fill up I'll buy the good stuff. BTW crazymanmike ,the shaken ,not stirred thing was a satiric funny, not actual practice (James Bond's martini is shaken , not stirred.) I don't think it matters which way as long as you agitate it long enough. And I doubt seriously whether shaken or stirred would have any effect on the amount of smoke generated.

Yep. Use the good go juice in the miniature engines in the buzzsaws. They need more even buring to avoid pre-ignition and flare outs in the chamber. Most saws are built and tuned for 89+ octane these days. I use 91 super, 'cause the octane tends to drop in the can.

As for shaken and not stirred, I think they are pullin' your plonker there, laddy. As for beating oil, octane and gas mix to death, well, let the mantra continue. Usegoodoilmixandatleastmidgradegas-o-leeeneeee....

Flame on! :blob2:

What about at the equator. Do you just poke a stick at it ???

cmm

You have a choice there. Actually, you only have to go about 30 ft north or south of the equator to get the flush swirl to reverse direction.

Now, the question for the classroom, which way does it swirl in each hemisphere? :sucks:

Well... dang it... I had a perfectly positioned number 2, a splash of number 1, stirred gently, and as I raised my hand to the flush handle... "whoom", a huge suck back and it all went straight down.. - NO SWIRL!!

Might be a while before I'm ready to try again
