You will regret that decision the first time you wedge a log into the track, pop a tire and have to fix it in a mud hole.

If you really don’t believe me, rent the same machine for a week one with tires and one with tracks, and put them to work and then report back.

It’s such a pain to get equipment down there, I’d only want to do it once.
no he wont! ;) the kid is a very exp'd bushman! well suited for what he does! heck, if i worried about this or that not being big enuff or whatever... i wouldn't even get out of bed each day!!!!
:givebeer:

Little baby machine, about one step above a stand up machine. total weight of like 3600lb.
You are selling it way too short. My RC 30 will pick up a stand on machine and throw it down like Godzilla and a transit bus, there aint no comparing the two. I guess pictures will have to tell the tale.....

I know how dissattsfied I was with the lifting capacity of the RC50 I rented for the winter last year. Great machine, but that is absolutely the smallest I would want.

If he is wanting to run a firewood processor, I would think he would want high flow with in cab controls. Or at least thats the way I would go.

 !! that''s like saying my lil Echo is a wind up toy, or close! yet 'we' all know its a real brute :blob2:kick a** :chainsaw:. i  it! and i sure would enjoy one of those Little baby machines up on my ranch!!! :rock2: up there along the county line!

i think i would  a RT 40, too! 👍

Its not about not believing anyone! I simply don't have any time logging with a skid steer. No skid steer experience is my problem!
