Such alloys are usually referred to by the (U.S. Steel owned) trademark 'COR-TEN' over here (Belgium). I believe they are not exactly cheap but they do get used for outside applications a lot indeed, although it seems to me that it's usually monuments or works of art that are built with them.

Here's an example of a 'floating' staircase (basically a fancy lookout tower, for tourists) close to one of my cutting places, made out of weathered steel. The thing was built with a lot of flex in it, if you want to be alone on it (it's quite a popular thing to visit), you just have to jump for a little while... soon enough all the others will have left :p:cool:.

Yep, cor-ten is the stuff I looked at :envy: , I have expensive taste for sure!
Is that the staircase that was built to honor lord biden .
Not sure why you’d need high flow unless for something like blowing snow.
To run that brand new masticator he's gonna buy :p.
🤣 You guys both underestimate my a**! 😉
I think you misunderstood what I was :barbecue:.
It was meant as a joke, as you said you wanted to "leave no rock unturned" kinda hard with either machine :).

One more post on the skidsteer thing for KK and then I’m gonna try to be done 🤣

If I asked about what saw to buy for my business I’m sure I’d get a lot of different answers, ranging from a small light saw to KK telling me to go buy a STIHL 661.

And I’d probably still buy a Husky 372 and be happy with it 👍

Ported 90cc saw FTW, cause everyone knows a 120 is just too heavy ;).
Oh, and most importantly, it's gotta be orange .

Edit; forgot to say, I'm actually enjoying it, lots of learning :).
I've actually wanted a mini skid for quite some time, but the little tractor came along at the right price and did a fine for a bit. That being said, if I was doing tree work on a daily basis(as in everyday), I'd have a mini, they are low impact on lawns for what they are capable of, very quick to get on/off, great all around visibility, and fairly light to haul.

Here you go, it's obvious the guy riding this whatever the heck it is is overloaded, who gets that smiley about riding something like that . Then again, I guess it's better than walking!
