Sawyer Rob, I really wanna like you man.

You like saws, have a sweet tractor. Shoot guns and seem to be full of knowledge

But you come off with this “Holier than thou” stuff. Maybe it’s the way I’m reading it and if we spoke in person it would be perceived differently….

Man, it’s tough to decipher a tone through reading typed words

I was thinking of being a real smart ass to you, but you are my elder and I was taught to respect my elders and for all I know, you really are a good guy. You really have all the traits of a good God fearing, hard working American. So I’m not gonna be a smarty pants.

Let’s all agree that there is more than one way to reload an accurate round.

There are good saws, even some that aren’t made in Sweden are ok

50:1 is almost as good as 40:1

And we all love a nice cold Beer

Don't judge it too harshly until you fix the intake gasket issue with them...night/day difference
Doing my best not to lol. As far as build quality it looks pretty decent, I wanted to tear into it tonight, but have a few other projects to finish up and send out the door first.

Did you read my post when I posted this,

I doubt in my old age, you are going to get my abrupt "tell it like is" personality to change very much, as I'm not much for pusyfooting around with "feel good" answers. SO, I'll just apologize right now for my past and future digressions of telling it like it is. lol

DANG, I apologized for "past and future digressions" lol

BTW, I don't like beer, cold or warm! lol

I can tell you, if someone post inaccurate gun/reloading info, I'm going to call them on it, I don't care if they are a Joyce Hornady "groupie" or not, lol as it has nothing to do with more than one way to reload, it has to do with giving out "inaccurate info" that I'm sure will get repeated.

I don't have one problem with you, if it helps, just read my post for the entertainment value, he!!, I'll like you either way.. lol

Just don't try to saw no wood before fixing it..... mine seized up half way through the second tank!

After seeing what @Sierra_rider found with the gasket issue, I'm half tempted to try another one myself.

Good luck with it.

Yeah after he said his findings I figured it need taken apart and gone over first before I even put gas and oil in it.

I read it

But again, no need for the Groupie stuff

Maybe my uncle prefers his neck sizing as he’s been doing it with fantastic success for my whole 42 years on this planet. He learned to do it from Hornady’s manual. I think we all can agre Hornady has sold more rounds than anyone we all know put together.

Maybe if you tried to neck size the first shot you took on a grizzly would have been on target enough they wouldn’t charge you in the zig zag motion.

And really??? You don’t like beer??? Yikes!

Back to firewood fun, so what was on your load today? ash? White oak??

I reload over 50 different cartridges/calibers, (not including the dies I made) I have a pile of N. size dies in many of those die sets., Do you really think I haven't done any N sizing of brass? I've been reloading longer than "uncle" has been alive. lol

Anyway, I have never liked beer, I was the designated driver BEFORE the term was even invented! lol

Update: OK, I read it that uncle was 42, so I read that wrong, I've been reloading 60 years, I was pretty young when I started reloading with my dad.

I have not burned a lot of Sugar Maple, but everything I hear about it says it should do better than the Cherry.
I have sugar in my region that is phenomenal. Leaves chunks like locust and scarlet oak.

Btw @sean donato keep us updated on your 843. So far I’m pleased as punch with the twin 100cc 892’s and 25cc top handle with 3 months of heavy duty.

Snowshoeing for about 6 miles today with a few chaga finds….

Y'all been lazy today......I was only 2 pages behind tonight..... ;)

Anybody got current experience with grease guns? mines dead..... and the last couple cheap ones I bought were worthless right out of the box.
Yeaa, I have some experience with grease guns, the SAME experience you had, cheap ones are cheap for a reason!

Also, I don't care for the pistol grip guns, each squeeze they put out half the amount of grease the lever guns do!

I bought a brand name lever gun last fall, it works good, but it also doesn't put out a full stroke of grease, I hate that!
