I use names, can't say 'em here though. When they run good I don't call 'em nothing, they are saws.

Ive named two after they got muffler mods-the 394 became "mother bucker"
and the 066 became "double odd buck" due to the shotgun type muffler.

The names mine have would be inappropriate to say on an open forum. It does absolutely no good at all to repramand an inantimate object but I do so periodocally, for all the good it does.My wife asks me why I act like that.Got her fooled,it isn't an act.

My two climbing saws are called one pull and little britches. We call the 441 Burtha. I can't repeat the names of our other two...

The nice names are Twinkle, Fluffy and Old Sparkless. Twinkle and Fluffy may have some work to do. Was rudely awakened by things hitting the house. Looks like (by flashlight) limbs on the roof. Now I hear we're supposed to have a windy day.

441 - felling saw
026 - limbing saw
cs-346 - dozer saw

Rats, now you just pointed out that I don't have a "firewood" saw. I'm going to have to get one of those!

I've never really named my saws untill I got the little craftsman at a yard sale, I call it crappy for short, real name is crapsman:) but it does run good & I only got $20.00 invested so far.

I was trying to hide the smile while I was hearing a few of those names you call your darlings in Ind.

090=bluto, 056magII(2)=reinheart,fritz, 125mac=the duke, 075=boolly, homie 990g=big jake, homie 540=john henry, and many more.

Yup, they are called the 046, 350, 192, and the 346 is "gone"!!!!:greenchainsaw:

THANK YOU!

I thought I was forkin' nuts...

... Yea, I call them The Stihl, The Husky, the little Husky...

Whats next, do you talk dirty to your chainsaw tool and whats its name?

As stated, they are just saws. I'm afraid that if I used names, I'd get too attached to them.

Although I have been know to occasional call them "Friggin' Thing"...as in where is that "Friggin' Thing", or that "Friggin' Thing" is a POS...

Pretty much here too. The Husky is the 3120, the "66" or the "Stihl" is the 066, the 372 is the 372 or '72, the Super XL is called "The Homie", and the 150 is either "blue" or "150"

They are all often referred to as biatch, so I wasn't lying.
