The lumberyard in my small town manufacturers a variety of surveyor's stakes from mostly dimensional lumber. Most start with units of 2x3, 2x4, or 2x6 material cut to length.

They cut the units to length with a Stihl 880 equipped with a 60" bar.

They are not very diligent about maintaining their saw.

On this occasion, the clutch bearing was so packed with fine, pine pitch loaded sawdust that the clutch/bearing was virtually locked up. Getting the clutch drum off is not a simple task, but getting the shaft, drum, and bearing cleaned up & lubricated was a simple fix.

Just recently finished the freebie 026. Got rings, hoses, carb kit, tank vent, spark plug, crank seals, double dogs, few other misc bits and pieces. Swapped plastic handle for aluminum one. Opened up the muffler as well. 18” bar with 26RS chain. She cuts!
