Yes it will load them that that high no problem, but One must be careful, take their time, and know what they are doing. Never turn their back to the load when strapping down! Expect the unexpected. I haven't had a log roll off or spit out yet. Knock on wood. The grader blade steak extensions provide a little protection. I do need to beef up the steak sleeves with some welded gussets for sure though, just incase! I'll be doing that here soon.

I've considered a wood stove in the shed and then adding a nice waste oil drip, my carbon credits are gonna be shot anyway

Well shoot! I've been amazed at how far down I've been able to damper down the chimney on my Heatilator fireplace this year. Had just a small fire going so I looked up at the damper. The rod/lever is no longer connected to the damper plate. I'm thinking a small screw(s) through the plate into the rod held everything in place, and the bolts had burnt off. Going to have to think on how I'm going to fix this in the Spring. In the meantime, I can reach the plate and turn it with a poker. PITA.
I love cooking and love learning to cook new things. Not sure if I would love it if I had to do it every day especially running the business!Dang! If you ever decide to quit your day job, you could start a restaurant.
I have thought about cooking as a retirement job...that way I could do what I liked without having to deal with the business end.

We used to have two of those skidders...one w/ the regular decking blade, and one with that loader setup.....really handy ol' machines....

.My neighbor a couple houses down is out making some noise with a saw, he could use that one on the oak he's cutting when he gets to the base. It's probably 40"+ and it's a double, property line tree, may be some surprises in the butt log.

Lets clairfy that shall we....it is shorter than my Model 110 long range with a 24" barrel plus muzzle brake. Still very much long enough to be legal lol
