i mite try it a bit dif next time, but there won't be a next time... i like my fried eggs... gentle cooked, white's white, yolks on the run, etc. i have no prob macon bacon again in cast. but my fav bacon pan does it real nice. wipes clean. not an OXO.
maybe i should try it this way....

I have the small Bosch router kit, it has all the different bases.

It's been a pretty good router, but it hasn't been abused either, as I have so many routers I can dedicate them for certain jobs.

i got a router, too. haven't used it in more than i care to mention... a lot of bits, etc. used it often in my cabinet/woodworking days...

No sir. Every other tooth is 1/2 the width of the others. The theory is it takes half the material and the tooth behind it finishes the cut.
I misunderstood. And I was going to say, what a waste! That kerf would have been bigger than a circle mill's  .

Yea, Matt posted a pic of me cutting to get up to the cabin. We stopped so many times to clear stuff I lost count! Took us over an hour to get up (on 4wd rd), usually takes 10 minutes!

We were the ONLY ones up there ... other than the critters! All virgin snow with ice under it! Thank goodness for the Blizzaks, but even they slipped a bit. It was even difficult to walk on the 4wd rd w/o falling! Luckily, I brought two saws with me, because I managed to rock one of them before the cutting was done. When the wood is frozen to the ground and it is cold and windy, it is tough not to rock one!

I have about a dozen pieces of cast iron. Mostly Lodge. Only a few pieces that might be old. I got a elderly neighbor's 'fish fryer' when he passed away. A No. 8 OZARK Dutch oven, Made in St. Louis.

Then I have a Griswald No. 6 skillet I inherited from my Sister. She was a collector of trinkets and had it hanging on a wall. Now it resides in my camp box and get's used every trip.

Is a skillet/pot measured by the bottom? So the above skillet is a 6 inch skillet? It measures 8 inches at the top.

Anyone know anything about either of these?

I think full narrow kerf would be more efficient than that stuff you got, that stuff seems like it would work like skip chain (you are only removing the full width every second tooth.)

When I ordered the narrow kerf chain, they said I also needed narrow kerf bars, but they were on B/O. So, I used my regular bars, and it worked just fine.

IMO, square file for the win!
