I think the most fun was cutting a 15" log with a 60" bar on an 066. We then proceeded to drop it on the log length wise. Let me just say this, if you wasn't there, you don't know what curlies are!!!

Watching that bar spit curlies with Eric standing behind catching them in a wheelbarrow was just plain funny, I don't care who ya are... LOL

It was an awesome GTG to say the least! Thanks to Bill and his wife for a wonderful time and good food. It was good to see everyone again and meet a few new people. Im already looking forward to the next one!! Thanks again.

BTW, Eric says that you're hosting the next one..... :)

140 pics on the way? Hey Ian. You've got yourself a screamer in that EH372. That's the most impressive woods ported saw I've seen or run. We're talking a woods ported saw here but this thing has both RPMs and torque. It just plain runs! Congrats.

Thanks, I do like how it runs. Lots of potential there... now I have to read all the sharpening advice on that CD you gave me..... LOL

You must have been Batman on the move getting those pics or Flash Gordon. I didn't see you using the cam that much, or so I thought.

Must of been having to much fun to notice. But if you took them, I know they are first quality pics.

I want to say many thanks to all that came. I had great fun today but in the end its all about the people. Without such a good bunch of guys the GTG wouldn't have been the success it was. The saws were just a bonus. Again thanks to all and hope everyone made it home safe. Some I know made it home before I got on here.

They add up quickly. I shot 153 at the Indiana GTG, and if my camera processed stuff faster then I would have been shooting the action shots in bursts, which really drives the numbers up .

I look forward to seeing the pics from this event!!

(And yes, I will get the Indiana gtg pics on a CD for the folks who asked...I didn't forget...just running way behind on the fun stuff right now)

The pics are batch processing themselves right now. Meanwhile, I ran a 7900 today for the first time. I know what you all have been talking about "smooth" now. And the power. This thing is way more than a stock MS460. I am truely convinced that you cannot buy more saw for the money. The saw I'm referring to belonged to EricJeepers and is all stock with the exception of the muffler. I was impress, and that's coming from an orange and white kind of guy. Nice saws!

Thanks to Bill for Hosting today

And to the Mrs for a wonderful and well thought out lunch. I had a great time. It was nice to get to use the new 36 inch bar. I was honestly amazed that my old tired 7900 would pull it as well as it did.

EricJeepers, I was wrong, I am 2 hours north of wkpoor. :p

Glad everyone had a safe trip.

This is what GTGs are all about. Having fun and making friends.

You don't want to get too close to that log. It might hurt ya. 60" bar on 066
