Stihl recovering from having the wind knocked out of ya? I got the right filter for that 361 if ya need it. I didn't know you cut wood in Alaska...

Gee Wally,
I did not know I had to live in Alaska to cut in snowy conditions.
I live in Michigan 2000 on the 45th parallel.

Oh Look That Oak is over 24" and my Jonsered cut through it using dawgs.
Oak is a hard wood ? isn't it

Nice bar on the jonny red. I love those, but can't find them in 050 around here any more.

total 24" bar with a 73LGXO84G "blue tip" chain. has the 0.58" drivers
I was told you can order the 0.50" 24" bar.

In that first pic, is that a stihl buried under the snow and chips on the left?

I know, I used to run 058 and ran total bars, tried ording some 050 when I switched everything over, but my husky dealer no longer can get the total bars. I like them, probably the best bar I've ever ran.

How you like that blue chain compared to sthil or the old Lg chain? how does it hold up in dirty conditions? I haven't got a chance to run it yet. Still have a bunch of carlton to use up beforeI go buying any more chain.

Seems to dull quick, very sharp out of the box.
maybe the 24" bar. Stretched quick. threw the chain off the bar.
I have not had that happen in along time.

Also I am use to 18 and 20" bars so I can't give a good repor unless I try one on a smaller bar.

Carltons are nice, easy to file. Maybe to easy seems I go through them quicker.

My two favorite chains are total and Stihl.
